CNC Milling

We offer milling for billets upto 800mm x 250mm x 250mm in most materials including steel, brass, aluminium and plastics for both large and small batches.

Capacity

We operate a modern Hurco Hawk 5M 3 axis CNC mill which as an open build allows us to machine large components such as tube, square & rectangular sections. The machine uses G Code or Conversational Programming and can accept pre-programmed files. The machine has a high and a low range of spindle speeds which allow us to work with a range of materials accurately:

• Low Range: 80 to 549 RPM
• High Range: 550 to 3800 RPM.

Operations

We undertake all milling operations including pocketing, drilling, tapping, boring, form milling and radiusing with a range of optional surface finishes. Secondary operations such as deburring and chamfering can also be undertaken.
